The Roundhill Sports Betting & iGaming ETF (“BETZ ETF”) is designed to offer investors exposure to sports betting and iGaming industries by providing investment results that closely correspond, before fees and expenses, to the performance of the Roundhill Sports Betting & iGaming Index (“BETZ Index”).

The Roundhill Sports Betting & iGaming Index is the first index globally designed to track the performance of the sports betting and iGaming industries. The Index consists of a tiered weight portfolio of globally-listed companies who are actively involved in the sports betting & iGaming industry. This classification includes (i) companies that operate in-person and/or online sports books (ii) companies that operate online/internet gambling platforms and (iii) companies that provide infrastructure or technology to such companies in (i) or (ii).

BETZ May Provide Exposure To:
  • U.S.-focused sports betting and iGaming companies such as DraftKings, FanDuel, and Barstool by either investing in the company directly or investing in the parent company.
  • Foreign online gambling companies such as Flutter Entertainment in Ireland, Evolution Gaming in Sweden, and Entain in the United Kingdom.
  • B2B companies providing technology solutions to B2C iGaming platforms, such as Evolution, Kambi, and GAN.
Sports Betting and iGaming Sector Highlights:
  • Goldman Sachs estimates the 2033 total addressable market for U.S. online sports betting at $36.7 billion, a 40% CAGR from its 2019 base. They are projecting an additional $15.5 billion in online casino gross gaming revenues.
  • As of February 2023, 33 states + Washington D.C. have live, legal sports betting. Additionally, three states have legalized sports betting, but are not yet operational.
  • In its first year of legal sports betting, New York set the annual record with a handle of $16.2 billion.
